Japanese Wisteria floribunda ‘Shiro Noda’ ‘Alba’ALSO KNOWN AS Wisteria ‘Longissima Alba’ Wisteria ‘Snow Showers’, has white flowers held on 2 foot long racemes. This is a popular, aggressive, flowering vine bearing pinnate leaves with up to 19 lance-shaped leaflets, each up to 3 inches long. Top choice for covering arbors or spilling over fences. Cherished for its 12 inch long clusters of fragrant, white to violet-blue flowers suspended along branches in spring. Flowering is not as spectacular as Chinese Wisteria due to prolonged season of bloom.

This beautiful, quick growing vine is surprisingly easy to grow from seed! Because they are a fast growing, winding vine, Wisteria need something sturdy to grow on. Wisteria cannot be grown on a tree, as it will strangle the tree. Arbour and pergolas work best, combined with training and pruning.
